A highly collaborative project with Ogilvy, the campaign invited people sharing the same name to send in pictures of themselves and be potentially featured on TV.
Part of the campaign involved the creation of a new Coke endtag – A celebration of the pop and burst Coke moment as the lid comes off the bottle.
Real-flow (specialised fluid simulation software) was used to generate dynamic simulations of the liquid as it cascaded through the air.
The mesh simulations were generated overlength, about 200 – 300 frames giving us the flexibility for time-ramping and creating more options for interesting shapes to form. In the end we selected 5 sim shapes that where layered in comp to complete the final look.
