Lost in Russia is a 2020 Chinese comedy film co-written and directed by Xu Zheng, who also stars in the lead role. The film follows the story of an awkward journey to Russia of a manipulative old mother and her middle-aged son who wanted to rebel and escape.

Fin was tasked with generating the detailed Siberian landscape that the journey takes place through. Full CG environments were created in Houdini with an extra level of complexity because of the enormous durations of some of the shots.

The film has been streaming online in China since its theatrical release was abruptly cancelled in the coronavirus outbreak, and racked up 600 million views in three days according to Chinese tech industry website Techweb.
